Xtream has private training in the win network Wed. 12-17-18 9pm eastern. We will confirm a Friday, 12-19-08 3pm eastern training at that time. This is mandatory training for those who wish to present Xtream to the Wealth Information Network members. We currently have one presentation which is an into into Xtream. I have outlines for a number of other presentations, each one focusing on different aspects involved in online marketing - all of which lead back to xtream of course.

This training is in the Win Network webinar room.

Xtream Global Marketing uses Hot Conference webinar rooms for their live webinar meetings. Recently Hot Conference moved to new servers and all did not go that well making it necessary to DELETE the existing Hot Conference software from your computer. Doing the uninstall will not always purge your system.

If you have issues reinstalling the Xtream Rooms found on http://xtreammembers.com/schedule.html please do the following:

1. Go to Windows Explorer
2. Click on My Computer (c drive)
3. Click on Programs (Program File)
4. Find the folder called Conference
5. Right click on the Conference Folder
6. DELETE the folder

Boom. You are ready to rock n roll.

I don’t know how many of you are members of this safelist, but I have been one since 2003 and do find it to be especially responsive for some niches: sign ups to traffic exchanges, sign ups to free programs, etc. I never had much luck selling anything with them, but, do get sign ups to programs that offer free memberships. They have a couple interesting twists, like bi-monthly lottery where you can win credits, and are a click to earn credits, banners, or cash safelist. You do get a lot of email, so use something marketing friendly like gmail. I do not recommend yahoo anymore as they tend to bounce commercial email these days. Large membership of over 15,000 active members.

Downside is free members have limited access to the entire database and you do not get a lot of credits monthly. But, if you like to click for credits, you can earn more. Upside is the one’s you reach seem to be fairly responsive.

Getting the most out of your Xtream Membership –

Practical seo workshops:
We had another great practical seo session once again tonight in our xtream seo webinar Thursday with some of the group of webmasters who are looking to not only Get OnThe Map, but also Conquer the Search Engines.

The past few weeks, we have looked at making our websites search engine friendly. This really simply means telling the search engines what your site is all about. You, or your member, or your human visitor might be able to figure that out no problem, but search engines need help. Think of them, in many respects, as being Idiot Savants - overwhelming brilliant in some single area, handicapped in all other aspects of being. You, as the human being, need to gently give the search engines what it is they need. Once you do that - everyone is then happy with the results!

Moving beyond making your websites search engine friendly (or happy), we looked at links tonight, in particular how several engines record links. To do this, we used another SEO Central [/b]tool found on our xtream practical seo website. Scroll down about 2/3 of the page to find the Link Popularity Checker. This tool reports back to you sites that link to your own webpage.

Note that when you build web pages - be they on a script, a blog, or your own design - you can in fact link back to your own web pages. This helps you in the overall scheme of things. Also observe that each search engine records links and link backs differently from one another. A link back is usually referred to as a reciprocal link. The reciprocal link can indeed be your own web pages. This strategy leads to another one: always publish multiple pages to your main domain, then link them back to one another.

But that is a topic for another session...

All subscribers of xtream global marketing receive upgrades at many traffic exchanges, both auto surf traffic and manual traffic. The upgrades give you more credits and additional link spots and higher surf ratios. This is to ensure you always have plenty of juice to run your ads. The temptation is to then simply walk away from those venues and never surf. That is the WORST thing you can do for your advertising, and this is why:

Surfing is what makes it happen at an exchange. If it is a manual traffic or hover surf traffic exchange, that surf is what shows sites and ads to the members. While you may never see your own site, viewing the other sites moves the queue along so that your site will rotate faster. The same happens on the auto traffic exchange: the more sites you surf, the more hits happen to YOUR own site.

It is to YOUR best interest to surf all the exchanges you belong to, as often and for as long as you can. If you belong to many, ensure you surf a group daily so that you surf each venue at least once weekly. A good strategy is to surf those sites which deliver the most hits or page views to your sites every single day.

On the autosurf traffic exchange that allows multiple windows and has nothing which stops your surfing, recommend you set those in multiple windows and let them run constantly in the back round. This strategy only works on autosurf traffic exchanges you trust to keep the surf clean from the nasties of course. A well-run and active Auto surf traffic exchange will send hundreds, if not thousands of hits to your websites daily. Those hits add up over time.

On the manual traffic exchange that delivers large numbers of page views daily, like Smiley Traffic Exchange for example, you will want to surf those daily simply to keep your sites in credits. As long as you have credits, you are pretty much assured 200 page views daily on average. Set time aside each day to also surf a group of your other manual traffic exchanges as well.

Getting the most out of your Xtream Membership –
We had another productive seo workshop last Thursday with Dave Williams presenting tips and strategies he has used to move his Estuff you need online ebook store up in the search engines. His notes are published towards the bottom of our practical seo website.This is a summary of things Dave found that really helped boost his site in the engines:

I put the main keywords in the title. Made the title shorter and removed as many "stop word" as I could. (and is a stop word)

I used my C-panel SEO tool and optimized my index page for Description size, number of keywords and for key word density.

I added an h1 tag and another in an h3 tag. These tags had some of my keywords.

I added content with keywords at the bottom of the page.

I reduced the number of keywords and focused mainly the first three. Making sure these 3 keywords were in the Title and the description also.

I added formatting to the keywords in the content (bold, italic and size)

I added the following robot tags...not sure if any of these helped but I know they don't hurt.

Put this tag in between <> to close it: meta name="msnbot" content="index,follow,all" (This is the MSN Spyder)

Put this tag in between <> to close it: meta name="slurp" content="index,follow,all" (This is the Yahoo spyder)

By using those tactics, Dave was able to move Estuff you need into first page results on several engines in a couple of key word phrases very quickly. I had never used the two additional meta tags on my websites and am adding them in this week and will track the results. Traditionally, while my sites do well in Google, they have not done as well in MSN or Yahoo. So, I hope that adding in those additional tags will help.Of all the tips listed above, I have found the H tags make a world of difference.

Also, note how Dave adds content with key words at the bottom of a webpage? I did the same thing - but turned it into an h3 tag! I did this on five sites with outstanding results. I put the tag just below the Powered by... All Rights Reserved text. This made a double-whammy so to speak.
