When you start surfing, the script tells you how many sites are available. These are only the active sites in our system and does not reflect the sites coming in from VS-Ten. We send sites to VS-10, and they send sites to us. Example: Friday we sent 2959 pageviews of our members sites to VS-Ten, and brought in 2047 pageviews from other traffic exchanges. Bottomline: you surf more than whatever the site total listed on the Surf page.

I have had some questions regarding what Xtream Members really is. One of them is: ‘Are you a traffic exchange or what?’ The answer is: Yes, but…. Lol. We actually lean towards ‘the what’ side of that question.
The traffic exchange is but a tiny (yet powerful) aspect of Xtream Members. It is a fantastic tool for getting hits and traffic to your websites and eye-balls to see your ads. Think of Xtream as a traffic exchange on steroids. The steroids being the digital products library, the links to a wealth of internet advertising specialties and online marketing resources, the set-and-forget resources, the live webinar training, the … Well the list goes on.
The Skeleton 2.0 script we use is based off of a Varisearch core product called the TrEx – or traffic exchange script. Originally we were not going to have the traffic exchange feature. However, as we were keeping the text and banner advertising features, it made sense to keep the link exchange feature as well.
Rich Parker, (the Varisearch script writer innovator inventor guru guy) has called Xtream an Online Marketing Super Store. The term has rather stuck. I like to think of Xtream as your Internet Advertising Hub. What ever it is you need, or are looking for, when it comes to advertising and marketing your business, affiliate sites, products, goods, and services on the Internet – I want people to say ‘See Xtream.’ If we don’t have it, google it. Or, let us know so we can add it in. Lol.
When you are trying to build a real downline filled with real people you can really communicate with… I want people to say, ‘Hello, see Xtream.’ When you are trying to build a real business where real people can also earn real money and real residual income…well, you know the response.

Welcome to all our new members! We are rolling along quite nicely in the launch of our new Xtream Membership site and Digital Products Library. We have had a couple of minor hiccups, which seem to be resolved.
Very Important: Affiliates, please check your status and ensure it is correct. Also, please check your paypal subscription and ensure it is still active. We had a couple cancellations lately, and sometimes that is initiated on paypal. If your subscription was cancelled and you wish to restart under the pre-launch special, please contact me so I can send you that link. Otherwise, you will need to restart under the new system.
Download the xtream iChannel. The iChannel is a direct-to-desktop publishing solution that allows you to get news on your computer. It is not a mailing list. Simply download the free software and add xtream to your ichannels. When Xtream publishes news and member updates, you will get them delivered to your computer when you are online. It is an easy and unobtrusive way to stay current with Xtream. Go to xtream iChannel to get the software.
Set it and forget about it.
Xtream Subscribers are set up for ‘Set and Forget’ advertising. Set your ads up onboard, download your auto tools, walk away. Subscribers also get upgrades or extra perks at many off-board venues, plus access to the majority of the digital product downloads.
Onboard Ads:
Xtream has onboard banner, mini-banner, and text advertising available. Go to Manage Ads in your back office to add, delete, or manage ads. These ads are seen on the surf as well as on pages through out the site itself.
Xtream is plugged into the VS-Ten traffic exchange swap network. This means YOUR ads are seen at hundreds of other traffic exchanges beyond the onboard traffic exchange specific to Xtream Members. We also have the onboard traffic exchange for your sites. Again, your sites are shown off site.
For webmasters and bloggers, we also have codes for exchanges – banners and text ads. This means you place our java script on your website or blog that you control. It picks up banners and text ads from our system. You get credits for displaying those ads on YOUR website or blog.
The onboard advertising system is driven by credits. Free members can surf and promote to earn credits to run your ads. You can also purchase advertising as well in our Credit Shop. Affiliate members receive an ample supply of credits to fuel their advertising every month as long as their subscription is maintained.
Network Resources:
In your Members Area, go to Network Resources to find internet advertising specialties such as email, link, seo, and more traffic. You will also find a site which houses some of the sites Affiliate members receive upgrades at, and a site which lists some of the sites all members receive special offers or bonuses.
Under the Network Resources section you will find links to VS-Ten, Link Ring, TrEx, Building Blocks, and the Win Network. Good Sites is a place holder for now. Eventually we will add links to many free resources which either assists you in your marketing efforts, or as recommended resources such as Registry Cleaners, Anti-Viri programs, and etc.
Digital products Library:
Affiliate members have access to digital products in the Library based on membership level. We will periodically release a product to the Free Members. We are working on adding digital products for individual sale. Individual items will be linked to commissions. We anticipate adding individual digital products for sale in May.
I highly encourage everyone to add their Xtream Members referral links, banners, and text ads to your onboard advertising and the traffic exchange. Because your ads are shown on hundreds of other venues, this is a great opportunity to promote your Xtream Business to a wide audience.
Commissions and your Xtream Business:
Free members earn one-time commissions on items purchased by those they directly sponsored. They do not earn commissions on recurring subscriptions. Affiliates earn one-time and recurring commissions 5 levels deep.

We had a good size group in for our Tuesday 9pm training which was an Introduction into some of the advertising features found on site. Features include:
Traffic exchange for sites
Text Ads for onsite and exchange
Banner and Mini Banner ads for onsite and exchange

We toured the Traffic exchange, text, and banner ads features and looked at your Promotional Materials. Some materials are straight forward, site referral links, splash pages, banners, and mini-banners. Simply copy the working link and place on all types of advertising venues.
For webmasters and bloggers, we also have codes for exchanges – banners and text ads. This means you place our java script on your website or blog that you control. It picks up banners and text ads from our system. You get credits for displaying those ads on YOUR website or blog. As our onboard advertising system is driven by credits, it is an easy way to generate credits to fuel your own advertising on our site. Remember, Xtream is linked via VS-Ten to hundreds of exchanges plus Xtream does it’s own marketing at many other sites and venues outside our own network. The Digital products access is governed by membership level. Free members have limited or no access to products, while the Pro Subscriber has full access. We will be adding items for purchase. This means free members make a commission when someone they directly refers makes a purchase, while Pro Affiliates make commissions 5 levels deep.
Next up…
On Thursday we will continue and look at other features like posting ads to outside adboards, finding email resources, more traffic, Building Blocks, WIN, and etc. Again, it is not an in-depth training. It is an introduction and overview of your many resources.
Note: I will not do a lot of in-depth training on the traffic exchange portion of our service, TrEx, or VS-10 as Rich and Andy Wooten present that material on Saturdays and Sundays 12noon and 4pm eastern. They will not meet this weekend, but will the next. I highly recommend you attend those sessions.

On the traffic exchange module in Xtreammembers, we are very different in one aspect. Unlike other exchanges, I highly encourage you to put your Xtream Members links in the traffic exchange. Why? Simple. Our exchange is linked to VS-Ten. Your sites, banners, and text ads are seen at closing in on 200 other traffic exchanges. The exchange is yet another PERFECT place to market your Xtream business! Get your Xtream link out to all those eye-balls.

Wonderful stuff! 5 out of the last 7 days, we have traded 175,000 page views or more through the network! It must be Spring, because the volume is growing.
We've been adding sites at a great rate... I still have 6 in the queue now waiting on script type/interface info, so this is definitely the start of a good growth spurt.
If we keep growing at this rate, we'll be on the new server by Summer!
The member-surf-minder thing is gaining some acceptance, but the downline builder is definitely getting good responses! I'll be tweaking it later this week to add color and style controls for the page-builder... so the pages can be more unique.
IF YOU RUN AN EXCHANGE, UPDATE YOUR RECORD!!!! It will NOT take you out of rotation, but you REALLY need to fill in the 4 new fields near the bottom of the interface record. They describe your site, both to surfers looking for exchanges to join, and also on the downline builder pages.

We have a prototype in testing at vs-ten.varisearch.com, and should have it polished and module-ready this month.

This pilot should be starting in about a week.
So what? Well, these are new things you can SELL. These are going to be available as both a stand-alone product, and as a module-upgrade for VS-TrEx sites. The same commission lines still hold, so it's money in your pocket.
We're going to change the pricing scheme slightly, as I learn more about real-world marketing. One problem we've been having is that VS-TrEx (the traffic exchange) is our sole product. We're going to break this into some pieces, so that VS-TrEx stands as the 'middle priced' product, which makes selling it easier… more on this next issue…

Recently Hot Conference moved to new servers and all did not go that well making it necessary to DELETE the existing Hot Conference software from your computer. Doing the uninstall will not always purge your system.

1. Go to Windows Explorer
2. Click on My Computer (c drive)
3. Click on Programs (Program File)
4. Find the folder called Conference
5. Right click on the Conference Folder
6. DELETE the folder

Xtream Member Checklist: Get organized continued! As you download the digital products from your back office, create a text document or spreadsheet for yourself which you will keep notes on. You created folders on your desktop to organize your downloads. Now, as you look at each one, make notes as to what your rights are, what kind of resource it is, and how you use it.
There are all kinds of downloads. Some are desktop utilities, some are enhancements to websites, some are articles or other types of information. Some downloads have sales pages you need to upload to your domain if you choose to do so. There are scripts and software. You OWN all this stuff so make yourself some type of record on what everything is!
Also, really important: say your computer crashes…. heaven forbid it does. Back this stuff up. Make copies. At the very least back up your document files that contains your notes. We do highly recommend you make copies of your downloads because - say 5 years from now you lose everything and have stopped your subscription with Xtream - you can recover all your stuff. Remember, the digital downloads are YOURS FOREVER. Back em up baby. (There is an Elvis Song in there somewhere.)
As mentioned yesterday, the main point is to get organized from the very beginning otherwise you will end up with 5,000 downloads and no idea what they are all used for. Back them up so you don’t lose them. As many of the digital products need to be uploaded to your own websites and domains, if you do not have one, you can get your own piece of the internet dirt cheap and with awesome support. There are a number of sites without credits throughout the Xtream Network. Please remember to log into the exchanges and review your sites! Admin can approve your site, but until you go back in and add those credits, your sites will not show on the surf. This includes Olympic Gold, Majestic Auto Surf, Auto Magic, the Evergreen sites, the list goes on.
Hint: if you can’t remember to get back in to an exchange after you add a site for approval, set your account to Auto Add Credits! Works like a charm every time.
If your site remains unapproved by Admin for more than 24 hours - it is because you have not surfed the requisite number of sites. Please surf so Admin can approve your sites.
Also, members who do not surf in 20 days are set to inactive. Sites are deactivated until you log in and surf again.

Xtream has acquired some very new digital products with fresh content. We are in the process of uploading them to our server so we can then get them into the Digital Library. We hope to get a little further along on adding the newest digital products to the Library over the week end.
Building Blocks is quite a bit further along in updating the programs in the back office. As you join the xtream and network partner sites you will want to get into Blocks and add your referral id. Once you do this, when someone joins Blocks under you they will see YOUR referral link and will join the programs listed under you. If you do not replace the default id with yours, the member will be joining under the default rather than your affiliate link.
Xtream Member Checklist: Get organized! It really helps to create a text doc or spread sheet that lists all the venues you have joined, your referral links, log in links and log in information. Having all that information in one place is very useful - especially if something happens to your computer and you lose all your favorites or groups. Save that document or spread sheet to a disk as well. It never hurts to have more than one back up.

Xtream Members: Xtream Members has added in a Monthly Pro Subscription. This is for members who do not want the One-Time-Offer to upgrade their subscription to Pro, or those who wait until after 30-days to then upgrade.
The One-Time-Offer that allows regular subscribers to upgrade their regular Subscription to the Pro Level for one fee of $97.00. The OTO is good for only 30-days after a member subscribes to Xtream. Normally, a one-time-offer is good only once upon sign up. However, Xtream will allow regular members to upgrade with the OTO Pro for 30-days after subscribing.
Very Important: You must keep your $9.95 subscription in place, even after the upgrade. All the OTO does is upgrade your subscription, it does not replace the subscription. Do NOT cancel your Regular Member subscription. You will have 2 accounts, one for the Pro OTO and one for the regular monthly or annual subscription.
Create your OTO upgrade by choosing that option on http://www.xtreammembers.com/members/payment_options.php Sign up using the same First and Last Name you used to set up your Regular member subscription. You will need to use a different email address.
Once you upgrade to Pro on the one-time-offer, log into your Pro account . You can then access the full library. Use the Pro Account Affiliate link to promote Xtream with. This is the account in which commissions go to the 85% level.
Again, you must keep your $9.95 subscription in place to keep your account with Xtream. If you cancel your subscription after you upgrade it with the one-time-offer, ALL your accounts will be terminated when your original subscription tries to renew.
After 30 days, if a Regular member chooses to become a Pro, you will need to do so on the Pro Subscription option. You will no longer be able to upgrade to Pro on the One-time-offer. If you choose this option, you will need to cancel your Regular Member subscription so you won’t be billed for two subscriptions.

Changes are underway for the overall business. Accessing commissions due can happen two ways: through the Mastercard Debit Card or by ‘Sweeping’ earnings to your bank. The sweep has no fees attached.

Judy Young is COMPLETELY revamping Building Blocks to accommodate the new Xtream. It is a work in progress that encountered a bit of a script issue.
Rumors have it Perry Shute will be offering some pretty nifty upgrades and specials at his venues during the Sunday 9-28-08 Xtream Open House and Smiley Traffic Event. You will need to be there to see what they are.
