Our goal is to help every participant to not only Get On The Map with the Search Engines, like Google, but to Conquer the Search Engines as well with at least one website. We will not only analyze sites, we will also discuss real strategies that work, as well as those that do not. We will apply the resources available to our members and participants to build up links, popularity, and traffic. We will record our progress on the Xtream section of Smileytraffic-forum.

Wow! What a great surf contest event we have had this week at Work Digital Traffic. Contest results show below in the Xtream Traffic Exchange Report. We will choose the member who receives the Log in Ad on Monday.
One thing for sure, whether you won an item or earned an upgrade, EVERYONE – every member – is a winner because of the amount of free traffic and free hits everyone received this week. Average was about 90,000 hits per day. As you can see, the autosurf is really very easy to accomplish. In order to help encourage members to continue to surf, we will continue to reward a Featured Ad Spot to one surfer every day good for one week, and a Log In Ad for the upcoming week as well. Those of you who did not earn the Gold upgrade have all month to continue to surf for it. As you can also see, surfing for the gold is really quite easy – as is surfing for the Platinum upgrade.
Next up is a referral contest. We have great surfing going on, and lots of hits happening. So we all need to get the word out on this venue. I am going to offer permanent link spots on work digital traffic as well as other high profile websites as part of the rewards for the upcoming contest. Details to follow next week.

As mentioned yesterday, one key element to getting good placement in the Search Engines like Google is getting traffic, or hits, to your websites. Another key element to good placement, as well as Page Ranking or Relevancy involves links. I have been investing some good, free link services and found one I am giving a whirl. It is called Telelinks. It is not necessarily easy to use, but, they have a good support team who can help get you going if need be. You place code on your server and website both and you get back links to around 6,000 or so participating websites

She brings a wealth of experience in building websites, managing traffic exchanges, practical technical experience, and other talents to the overall Xtream Group. She has already been teaching in our evening sessions and we are thrilled to have her officially onboard with the Xtream Professional Team. As is typical with our Group, she has been nicknamed Lis and is ok with that.
Liz started out with Xtream by being a Network Partner, then became a member of Xtream Global itself. You will find that she has a forum in place at Smiley Traffic Exchange and is very active on the internet. A year or so back she had some thriving manual exchange traffic venues – one of which had over 7,000 members. She underwent (like many of us do) some serious setbacks with servers and scripts. None-the-less, she is back providing outstanding online marketing resources. One of the hallmarks of her venues is superior member support that is real and straight forward. (although she has been known to pop in unannounced during the afternoon sessions as well periodically.)
Last issue I mentioned that one good online advertising strategy involves using safelist submitters. Xtream members have access to a nice desktop submitter. There are also some web based submitters run by several of our Network Partners. Evergreen Autosend Safelist Submitter has a special exclusive for Xtream members. For only $4.50 a month you receive the Executive Level upgrade. When you go the submitter route, I highly recommend you also use pop3 email accounts.
If you have your own domain, you can sometimes set up multiple email accounts to use for your safelist email marketing. Do check with your service provider on what they will and will not allow you to do however. Some hosting companies will NOT allow you to use their service for commercial email marketing. If you are need of pop3 email, several Xtream Network partners can supply them for you.
Other online marketing strategies involve obtaining good placement in the Search Engines. Next Thursday, 11-13-08 in the 9pm eastern Xtream Resource Center webinar online conference room we start a new series on Practical SEO. This is a hands-on workshop where the participants look at each others websites and see how they are doing in the various Search Engines. The main focus will be on Google at first. We will see how our web sites rank now, and then track them over the course of the next many months. The goal is to first Get on the Map with the Engines (first 100 pages), then to Conquer them (top 40.) The ultimate goal is for a top 10 listing in a search engine like Google. It is practical and hands on as we, as a group, will analyze each others websites and work on improving the ranking on each site in the Engines.
We will also discuss Page Relevancy or Page Ranking (PR) as well with an eye on how to achieve a PR of 4 or greater. While many of the Xtream Professionals will be leading some of the discussions and workshops, we will also have guest speakers as well.

Getting the most out of your Xtream Membership –
As an xtream global marketing member you have access to a number of auto marketing desktop tools: the Alexa Rank Enhancer, an Auto FFA Ad Blaster, and a desktop safelist submitter. The download links are found in your members’ back office along with tutorials on how to set up and use the online marketing resources. Also, you have access to a spam word analyzer which I highly recommend you use ANYTIME you send out email. You would be surprised at the innocent words that will trigger the spam filters at all major email services. Any word associated with office, offer, off, etc is considered a spam word for example. And, it is not just that your email gets thrown into the Junk folder – spam words will prevent your email from being delivered completely - even if the recipient wants to get your email! These tools are all available commercially and you would pay around $80 or so for all of them if you purchased them from outside suppliers.

Finding support on the Internet:
Xtream is one of those places you can go to when you need help – or at the minimum finding the person or company who CAN help you. Recently I was contacted by a fellow PT-Script owner, Patricia of RFH. Like me, she was having major issues with her script and not getting any support or help in getting her exchange back up and running properly.
The person who had owned the master rights to the PT-Scripts and the technical support company from 2004 – 2007 sold the business to someone else. That someone else does not respond to support requests. There is complete silence whenever anyone contacts the new company. In the meantime, the unfortunate business owner who bought a script from PT-Scripts is left with sites which do not work and no where to turn when issues arise. What to do in a situation like this?
Xtream is fortunate in that we network with a very talented group that has among its numbers a person who has helped us get our PT-Scripts back up and running. Her name is Judy Young of Jdana Hosting and Evergreen Promotions. She also runs the Building Blocks affiliate downline builder. She is conversant with many types of scripts and has a wealth of technical information and skills. We have gotten Judy and Patricia together and hope to see RFH back on its feet soon.
