On the surf:
When you start surfing, the script tells you how many sites are available. These are only the active sites in our system and does not reflect the sites coming in from VS-Ten. We send sites to VS-10, and they send sites to us. Example: Friday we sent 2959 pageviews of our members sites to VS-Ten, and brought in 2047 pageviews from other traffic exchanges. Bottomline: you surf more than whatever the site total listed on the Surf page.

I have had some questions regarding what Xtream Members really is. One of them is: ‘Are you a traffic exchange or what?’ The answer is: Yes, but…. Lol. We actually lean towards ‘the what’ side of that question.
The traffic exchange is but a tiny (yet powerful) aspect of Xtream Members. It is a fantastic tool for getting hits and traffic to your websites and eye-balls to see your ads. Think of Xtream as a traffic exchange on steroids. The steroids being the digital products library, the links to a wealth of internet advertising specialties and online marketing resources, the set-and-forget resources, the live webinar training, the … Well the list goes on.
The Skeleton 2.0 script we use is based off of a Varisearch core product called the TrEx – or traffic exchange script. Originally we were not going to have the traffic exchange feature. However, as we were keeping the text and banner advertising features, it made sense to keep the link exchange feature as well.
Rich Parker, (the Varisearch script writer innovator inventor guru guy) has called Xtream an Online Marketing Super Store. The term has rather stuck. I like to think of Xtream as your Internet Advertising Hub. What ever it is you need, or are looking for, when it comes to advertising and marketing your business, affiliate sites, products, goods, and services on the Internet – I want people to say ‘See Xtream.’ If we don’t have it, google it. Or, let us know so we can add it in. Lol.
When you are trying to build a real downline filled with real people you can really communicate with… I want people to say, ‘Hello, see Xtream.’ When you are trying to build a real business where real people can also earn real money and real residual income…well, you know the response.
The really fun thing is that everything you see at Xtream is eventually be a product at Varisearch and one you can sell! TrEx has been the prime product for a couple years. Rich is rolling out a rich array of products and modules within the Skeleton 2.0 script that plug into one another.
Xtream’s dream and vision is to become an Internet Advertising Hub that then connects to OTHER hubs as well thus becoming a huge, inter-locking network of online advertising sites for anyone trying to market their sites, programs, businessess, goods, and services on the internet. Okay, I don't have a horse, so I'm not Paul Revere, but still,wanting to update VS-TrEx affiliates about what's happening.
Item 1: 2.0 is finalized, and upgrades will start on Wednesday evening. I'm still tweaking a conversion script, but with a little luck, all validated TrEx sites will be on 2.0 within about 2 weeks (only so many hours in the day).
Item 2: This is a biggie. We've finally got the module layout figured out, and our first 3 modules are in pilot sites now!
epLibrary: electronic product library system
The first pilot to go live is Xtream Global Marketing Resource directory. The module is called epLibrary, and it provides a powerful tool for distributing downloads to members. Members at different levels have access to different files... all can see the files, but some files may require an upgrade, or even a direct purchase. It includes a member-voting and house-ranking system, and is searchable and groupable.
First things first: I would suggest you go to the pilot site, which has a HUGE digital library (over 1500 files, growing by many more each week).

We had a great meeting Sunday. Rich Parker took us on a quick introduction tour of our new home at the Xtream Members back office. We will have detailed training for the next two weeks on all the systems so everyone can get full benefit from all the features, bells, and whistles. Some highlights:
Onboard site banner and text ad rotator.
Onboard traffic exchange, banner and text ads on the surf
Banner exchange
Searchable Digital Products library that is accessed by memberhip level
We will be adding Products for individual sale. Members earn commissions based on membership level.
Pages with links to post ads to adboards.
Join and login links to other systems including VS-Ten, Building Blocks, and The Win Network.
Pages with links to find traffic resources.
Pages with links to find email marketing resources.
Room download and schedule information.
Links to resources Xtream Members receive upgrades at.
Email downline system.
While not in place yet, we have an onboard, in-house messaging system coming online in a few weeks. This will allow upgraded members to communicate with their downlines and teams on a regular basis. The idea is to put in your hands as many resources possible for you to build your Network Marketing Businesses and build your list. This tool will be totally in-house and will not involve external email, thus avoiding all the issues associated with that type of communications. (Such as spam, spam complaints, non delivery of email, blocked email, and etc.) Members will log into their back offices to pick up and read their messages. While every member will receive messages, only Admin and the Upgraded Affiliates will be able to send messages.
All existing referral and system-generated Splash pages have been redirected to the new system. This means you will not have to worry about changing or pulling down your old system-generated links. As mentioned previously, we will have in depth training on all the systems over the course of the next two weeks – the exception being the Easter Weekend. The Sunday after Easter, we will have a 3pm training which will primarily concentrate on how to use Xtream as your downline builder.
Note on Membership Levels: we have a Free Members and the Pro Member Upgrade which you purchase. All other upgrades are earned by filling your Matrix with subscribers. The levels apply to the traffic exchange as well. One cannot purchase a Silver Membership or surf for the upgrade for example. Upgrades past Pro Affiliate can only be earned by referring subscribers into your Matrix.

All members meeting today, Sunday, 3pm Eastern in the RC. We will introduce you to your new back office and your Xtream business system. Rich Parker of Varisearch will introduce the basics of your new back office.
This is an introduction session only, and we can only meet for 1 hour. At 4pm Rich and Andy Wooten hold a meeting at 4pm eastern. While it is primarily aimed at VS-Ten participants, they will answer other questions as many aspects of the VS-Ten and TrEx scripts are a part of our new Membership Site and Digital Download Library.

Countdown to the Xtream Business Systems launch: 2 days
WOWZA!!
That is the only word I can say following the set up meeting I just had with Rich Parker. Everyone will be absolutely blown away by the scope of our new Xtream Business System – which is in fact an Online Marketing Super Store. Besides having links to all our existing programs, besides housing all our digital products, besides housing the desktop goodies, it will ALSO provide:
While it will not be included immediately in our launch, Rich is building an in-house mailer/messaging module so Affiliate Business Builders can communicate with their teams. It will not use external email, so we will not have to wrestle with the email situation as we grow. Instead, Business Builders can contact their downlines through the back office. Members log into Xtream to view their messages, etc.
Members join Xtream, whether as a free member or Affiliate, and can then use their back office as their online marketing hub to get to venues in our Network, post ads, even surf if they want. And, if we don’t list their favorite site or program… we can add them in as we grow.
Fyi – our Membership site is in fact built along the same lines and principles as the TrEx script. I am finding it so Admin and user friendly that I only wish I had known about TrEx when I first started up my original traffic exchanges. Good news is: Xtream is to be the pilot site for Rich’s upcoming Varisearch Members Only script. In the future we hope to see many other Super Stores coming online across the Internet! In time, Pilot Site status will change to Flagship. Xtream members are on the ground floor.

Tips for traffic exchange owners – VS-10 is a credit based traffic swap system. When you send traffic out to the Network and a page from your traffic exchange is seen on another traffic exchange, that costs you a credit. When you bring in a page from another traffic exchange and show it to your members, you earn a partial credit. The key to success is to ultimately bring in more traffic and pageviews into your traffic exchange then you send out. Your Outgoing link is the mechanizim which brings pageviews into your exchange. Add that link multiple times to increase the number of pageviews you receive to the Phantom Accounts you set up on your site. As your traffic exchange grows in membership and websites, add Phantom Accounts and more Outgoing links to keep your credit balance in the Black.

New Xtream Members Business System Back Office rolls out this week!
Rich Parker is installing our new script now, and once we have access Lonnie and I will work on setting up the back end for everyone. Rich will be importing the databases over the next day or two. Great news is that everyone will keep their existing Affiliate ID, so you will not have to replace any of your existing websites! Whooo-hooo! New Xtream Members Online Business System Back Office rolls out this coming week!
Rich Parker of Varisearch is putting the final touches on the back end software which will support our upcoming Xtream Global Members Site and Digital Products Library. It will completely replace the two scripts currently in place. Besides managing the upcoming Affiliate Matrix, it will also handle the free members, manage a fully searchable Products Library database, and have portals for company news, gateways to other venues (like VS-Ten for example), and will support banner and text advertising features! A future portal will be an in-house email/messaging system so business builders can communicate with their downline as well as share other information to one another.

It appears that most of our services are back online and have been restored. Lonnie has been chasing around a self-replicationg bug the past few days that was attacking our scripts and webpages. It appears he found and removed the culprit and repaired the majority of our websites. Clean up continues, but for the most part it is All System Go.

VS-Ten for Members: This past week Varisearch rolled out the Traffic Reminder system. Surfer Members of VS-Ten will find a list of all the traffic exchanges in the network. You can join an exchange from VS-10. You can also then tell the system which exchanges you belong to. When you log into each exchange and surf, it will record that for you. Each time you go to your VS-10 back office, you can see what exchanges you surfed and the last surf date. Up next, Rich is rolling out the downline building.
VS-Ten for Traffic Exchange Owners: VS-Ten is a credit-based swap system. You receive credits for bringing pageviews into your exchange for your members to view, you are charged credits for the pages sent to the network that are shown on other sites. The mechanizim that brings pages into your exchange is called the OutBound link. You will find this important link in your VS-Ten back office under Owners, My Traffic Exchanges. Typically you, the owner or Admin, will set up an account called VS-Ten and then add your site’s OutBound link to your exchange and assign credits to it so it can then go into rotation on your exchange. As members surf, the link enters the surfbar and displays a page from the VS-10 Network. You receive credit for that view. To increase the number of outgoing pageviews – and thus your credits with VS-Ten – simply increase the number of OutBound links you add to your exchange. Some Admins will also set up additional VS-Ten accounts on their site – each with a number of the outbound link - to increase the number of pageviews they show to the members of their exchange.

Past two issues of the Xtream Not-So-Daily-News have dealt with the rollout of the Xtream Business Plan as well as discussing the various aspects of the TrEx and Vs-Ten systems. This issue contains news from various traffic exchange network partners, as well as other information.
Judy Young has started a Basics Marketing Series and the first topic she addresses is setting up email accounts for marketing. Your email is probably the LAST thing you think about when you start your online marketing business – yet it should be the FIRST thing you think about! Most of us make a critical mistake when first starting out by trying to use our personal email accounts or even our own domain email to join online advertising venues or business opportunities which will possibly involve thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of members. Huge issues arise from using personal email accounts, business accounts with those so-called spam assassins, etc. I highly encourage you to attend our Tuesday and Thursday live webinar sessions – if nothing else so you can guide those who join under you to them as well!

Hats off to our faithful surfers...They sent over 220,000 site views to members pages this week! Make sure that you are getting your share of all that traffic by keeping your account active and credits assigned to your sites.
All websites that meet terms have been approved. If you happen to have a site that autostarts audio or video those have not been approved as they take too long to load and interfer with the surf timer. (those are on review until either the member corrects or I delete). Have you tried using our AutoAssign function? Really you should give it a spin. Just go to site maintainence and mark your account to Auto Assign. This will keep your sites in active rotation and anytime you want to stop showing one of your sites all you need to do is put it on pause. Every time you login your credits will be distributed to all active sites. Also credits that are on auto assign are distributed at midnight when the daily stats run.
You can even limit the number of times your site shown each day by editing the link and setting the number of daily views. At Evergreen Traffic we strive to offer features that do the hard part so you can just login and surf, confident that your sites will be shown.

Past two issues of the Xtream Not-So-Daily-News have dealt with the rollout of the Xtream Business Plan as well as discussing the various aspects of the TrEx and Vs-Ten systems. This issue contains news from various traffic exchange network partners, as well as other information.
Judy Young has started a Basics Marketing Series and the first topic she addresses is setting up email accounts for marketing. Your email is probably the LAST thing you think about when you start your online marketing business – yet it should be the FIRST thing you think about! Most of us make a critical mistake when first starting out by trying to use our personal email accounts or even our own domain email to join online advertising venues or business opportunities which will possibly involve thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of members. Huge issues arise from using personal email accounts, business accounts with those so-called spam assassins, etc. I highly encourage you to attend our Tuesday and Thursday live webinar sessions – if nothing else so you can guide those who join under you to them as well!

Surf Contest underway at Smokin-Hits:
Manual Surf contest 03-24-2009 through 03-31-2009. Rewards include extra credits for your promotions. Top three (3) manual surfers additional downline members. You even more credits as everyone does get a % of their downlines surf credits. Top surfer will get 10 referrals and the 2nd and 3rd place surfers will each get 5 referrals. The contest will be a Manual Surf and Winner designated by the most credits earned manual surfing from 2009-03-24 and finishes 2009-03-31. Smokin-Hits is planning a referral contest for the month of April which will include CASH earnings.
News from Evergreen Traffic Exchange:
Hats off to our faithful surfers...They sent over 220,000 site views to members pages this week! Make sure that you are getting your share of all that traffic by keeping your account active and credits assigned to your sites.
All websites that meet terms have been approved. If you happen to have a site that autostarts audio or video those have not been approved as they take too long to load and interfer with the surf timer. (those are on review until either the member corrects or I delete). Have you tried using our AutoAssign function? Really you should give it a spin. Just go to site maintainence and mark your account to Auto Assign. This will keep your sites in active rotation and anytime you want to stop showing one of your sites all you need to do is put it on pause. Every time you login your credits will be distributed to all active sites. Also credits that are on auto assign are distributed at midnight when the daily stats run.
You can even limit the number of times your site shown each day by editing the link and setting the number of daily views. At Evergreen Traffic we strive to offer features that do the hard part so you can just login and surf, confident that your sites will be shown.

Update for Camelot traffic
It was brought to my attention that people were having error messages when trying to join camelot traffic. When joining the script will ask you for a website name. The name has to be one word. for example if it were perrys blog you would have to write it as perrysblog. that is the only way the script will accept it. Hopefully this helps. Even if you only surf a VS-TrEx site (like My-Traffic-Plan Traffic Exchange), the intro classes may help you understand and use the systems more effectively.
Many of the Xtream Traffic exchanges are now plugged into VS-10. This means your websites are seen not ONLY at the traffic exchange you joined, but across a very large network of other exchanges. It is not unusual to send thousands of hits across the network everyday. We served close to 7,000 page views across the Network for our members at Workdigital traffic. We had similar results from our other venues including Auto Traffic Magic, Cashflowpc traffic, Majestic Surf, Storybook Surf, and Xtreamsurf. Wild Rose Marketing has many exchanges plugged into the system as well. It is crucial to note that only websites which are ACTIVE are shown to the network. This means you must be an active member AND have credits assigned to your sites. If you have not logged into your account at a traffic exchange or surfed in 30 days, your account goes inactive and your sites are deactivated as well. Now is a great time to reactivate your account and websites! Do this by surfing.

We have made a change in our Team Meetings and will no longer have a Professional Team Meeting on Mondays. We will have a meeting twice a month for those actively involved in marketing xtream: presenting at Win, posting ads, seeking out new resources for us, etc. At this point we are looking at moving that meeting to a weekend afternoon (most likely on Sunday). Smiley Traffic Exchange
Smileytraffic exchange is well on the way to their goal of 60,000 members by December 31, 2009. Vern will be holding bi-monthly meetings for the members starting in March in his Smileytraffic Live Webinar Conference Room. If you are a member under cr2003 – let me know so I can send credits your way. I really love this venue for many reasons – one is that members actually have a chance for getting their sites seen by the entire population and the auto surf sends significant hits to member websites.
Varisearch – llc Systems
Systems include the well known and well established traffic exchange system known as trex where member sites at one exhange in the system are shown at participating traffic exchanges. The system is unique in that it includes scripts outside the Vs script. Amcs, Lj, Pt, Walker, and other traffic exchange scripts are able to plug into the Vstrx system. They recently upgraded the entire system, which is part of the focus of the newly established live support and webinar series hosted by Xtream Global.
Ok, so why are we nicknamed the Not So Daily News? Well, try as I might, news and updates do not happen daily. They happen more than monthly, so we are not monthly news. They tend to happen more than twice a month, so not bi monthly news. Can’t claim to be weekly either. Sometimes the news is published several days in a row…then breaks happen. The original vision was a daily publication – but then life gets in the way and dictates otherwise. Lol. So, we are now – proudly – the Not So Daily News.

Lots of contests and specials going on at the many traffic exchanges in the Xtream traffic exchange network. The Admins advise members of events on a regular basis. What ever exchange you belong to, please surf. Surfing is the absolute lifeblood of ANY traffic exchange. A horrible thing happens when you do not surf – nothing.

There are a number of link marketing venues in our network. One particular classified ad board venue is actually tied into another network of over 7,000 other boards! This means when you post to one classified ad board, you can then post to 7,000 others very easily. Free. You know everyone needs free. Life span of the links vary from board to board. If you have a small budget, you can upgrade. Xtream Subscribers receive permanent links on participating ad boards.

This particular site lists the venues Xtream subscribers receive upgrades at. 80% of those venues offer a free membership. Free is great to start with. You will find that just as in offline marketing, you will need to eventually pay for advertising. When you have that budget, don’t pay full price!
